All students and educators are invited to participate in and learn more about the educational programs the DAR offers through the Arizona State Society, DAR. Educators, parents and students are encouraged to contact their local DAR chapters for more detailed information on programs provided in their community.

Constitution Week

Established by the DAR in 1956, Constitution Week is an annual week-long celebration of the United States Constitution held September 17-23. Throughout the state, our chapters provide information about the U.S. Constitution in libraries and schools, contribute to community events, and coordinate bell-ringing with communities across the country.

DAR Manual for Citizenship

The DAR provides an online manual to assist individuals in becoming naturalized citizens. Arizona State Society, DAR, Daughters attend naturalization ceremonies to greet each new citizen and present a small gift, such as a flag lapel pin.

Flags and the U.S. Flag Code

The U.S. Flag Code is a useful tool for students studying the American flag.

Junior Membership Classroom Grant

2017 was the year the Classroom Grant program started. The Helen Pouch Memorial Fund supports this program. Kindergarten through 12th-grade classroom teachers may apply.
Contact your local chapter for application information.
