About the Content
One of the five objectives of the DAR is historic preservation. From the very beginning of the Arizona State Society DAR, historic preservation was emphasized. Chapters place historic markers and participate in a variety of American Heritage Committee contests.
Education

The education of young people is one of the objectives of the DAR. The National Society DAR offers a variety of scholarships, educational programs, contests, and awards.
Patriotism

Since 1901, the Arizona State Society DAR has been dedicated to the promotion of patriotism. Chapters are actively engaged in activities that support our veterans and active military.
